Trip to London... Ontario that is!

So I finally got down to see Dan in London, Ont... This has been one of the hardest things to plan as we both have extremely busy schedule... but we both were able to book a weekend... And what a weekend!

With the hello's out of the way, a quick tour of his and Dana's apartment and a nice lunch we both started in fine fashion... straight to drinking with some of Canada's finest, Mooseheads...

Once Andy arrived we continued on our merry way with some more cold ones before Dana left for Toronto and we begun our boys weekend, heading downtown to check out some of London's patio bars...

Once we got downtown we headed to a London original, "Barney's"... One of Londons collegue bars... What a great patio bar that is... we spent quite a while drinking in the sunshine, pretty much until we were all trashed and very, very hungry... Hungry? well time to eat people and off we went to another London original, "Spaghetti Eddys".

Now let me tell you about Spaghetti Eddys, this place was class people... to get there you need to go down an alley way then downstairs into this dingy, dark, cramped room...

The atmosphere was great as they have all this 'stuff' hanging from everywhere including old street signs, pictures covering every available space, the ceiling painted black and a variety of different 'things' hanging from the rafters... The best thing to have there is the obviously the spaghetti which we all had picking our sauces and eating our drunkenness away...

Latter that evening after a little snooze the three of us headed to Dans buddies house out Strathroy (his home town) to the place he use to live in before moving in with Dana... This was your typical country party... tailgating, drinking in the barn/shed, shooting spud guns, drinking by the fire and just having a all round great time... I had a fantastic time...

The next morning waking with sore heads and traveling back to Dan's apartment... we popped into his local for a late breakfast... then chilled the rest of the day until I left for home...

This was such a great trip, though my only regret was I didn't get to meet Dan's folks as they were away that weekend... next time it will be number one on my list of things to do... You can check out the photos here

Great Friends + Great Time = Great Trip
