OAFL Grand Final.... 3 years in a row!!!!!
Hey Peps...
So my footy team I play for over here, Toronto Eagles (eaglesafc.com) have made the Grand final again for the third year in a row... Quite an achievement...
Hopefully well make it 2 out of three... last years 1 point lost still reels in my memory...
Well wish me luck.... Hope your all well back in Aussie land and where ever else you are...

Hot in the City..
So this summer has been one of the worse since i've been here... Raining, low tempretures... But a month into the summer holidays it has decided to drop by, and boy did it ever...
The past three days have been extremely hot with tempretures reaching 38 degrees... And when you and in the humidity it can feel like over forty...
Now for most this is a welcome change to the pathetic month before, but for me it kinda sucks when there isn't a beach around that isn't a lake... :(

Aussie All-star
Yesterday was Canada Day here in Toronto (Which is basically like our Australia Day) and the Ontario Australian Football League, which i play in, held there annual Canada Day Football Carnival pitting Australia vs Canada.
I was once again selected to play for the Aussie All-stars for the second year in a row (Yeah I'm that good! haha) starting in the half-forward position, though I ended up playing rover for most of the game. Three of my Toronto Eagles team mates were also selected to play for the Aussie team so it made it even better to be out there.
Obviously Australia triumphed, defeating the hapless Canadian team 134 to 41 but what really matters is that it was a great day for everyone involved.
Death of an Icon
As most of you would have heard pop icon Micheal Jackson past away today. This is one of those moments in history were everyone around the world is effected in some way.
I'm not going to go too much into it as I'm sure the media will be crazy enough, but I thought I'd post one of his best for you all to enjoy.
