So today I got to meet and interview an Australian Football legend, Kevin Sheedy. It was pretty unreal. As here I am in Toronto, Canada and I’m meeting Kevin Sheedy of all people.

So the day started out with a boat cruise across the lake, which was organised by the league here, in which I was introduced to Kevin and his wife Geraldine. The cruise was pretty cool, though the weather was nothing to be desired. The whole of Toronto was covered in some crazy ass smog.

Later that afternoon, we met up with Kevin again to conduct our interview for our clubs radio station. Mr Sheedy was great to interview, he oozes professionalism, he also realise that the radio show was amateur and that me and Lockie (my co-host) aren’t professional. The interview went really well, we got to talk to Kevin for over 40mins about footy and his life during and after it.

All in all this was a pretty awesome experience, one that I wouldn’t have expected to have in Canada.
