Damien Rice Concert...

Thanks to my good buddy Ross... Tonight I went and saw one of the most amazing concert of my life... Damien Rice was absolutely amazing... He really warm up to the audience, seeming delving into some longwinded and hilarious stories.

The two-hour show, darkly lit for a proper melancholy mood with candles and large, boxed-shaped hanging lanterns, was pretty evenly divided between music from his two albums (which I recommend to everyone) as well as a performance from another member in his band Vivian Long, who did an amazing solo performance on piano of The Flaming Lips’ Yoshima Battles The Pink Robots Pt 1.

Song highlights were Amie, Eskimo, Accidental Babies, Me, My Yoke And I, Grey Room, and his breakthrough hit, The Blower’s Daughter - which he did off mic and standing at the front of the crowd.

On the Salometer I'd give this concert 10 out 10...

Great Show, great time... Cheers Ross..
