Well my first week in Canada is officially over.. It’s been epic here even though the weathers been so friggin cold...

I'm assuming that you all have had a fantastic Australia Day celebration with plenty of relaxing and boozin in the great summer heat (I saw that it was like 40 degrees)...

That's probably the only public holiday that i will miss cause its always a crazy day out with the boyz....

Well as the title states, I’ve finally left the hostel (Which i plan on not returning to by the way) and am now staying with my good friend Colin and his wife Sarah in Oshawa (It’s about a 50 minute train ride from Toronto)...

Oshawa is a pretty cool place, it is know for being the headquarters of General Motors (they own Holden in Australia) and has a country feel to it, not hickie but nice and homely...

Colin and Sarah have two kids,Katie (2.5) and Ben (10 months).. These two seem like quite a hand full and I've already had the experience of how early they get up in the mornings, it lucky that I’ve had experience with my niece and nephew and can fall back to sleep quite easily...

They also have a pet dog, Jack who's part Labrador and part new found lander... for those of you who don't know what the new found lander breed is, well they are huge muscular dogs bred for sea rescue...

Me and Jack have become good pals and he regularly sleeps next to me at night... its like having my own personal watch dog (no pun intended)...

The last picture is where i sleep and store my stuff... I tell ya guys, it's great to have friends and its great being in a real house and not having to worry about all my gear...
